Natural anti wrinkle treatment

Natural Extracts of different plants are also widely used in anti-wrinkle cosmetics. These include extracts from green tea (which apart from antioxidants also contains anti-inflammatory ingredients), as well as an exotic kelp also coming from the Japanese sea. It is called Phytessence Wakame – an amazing ingredient preventing hyaluronidase. Hyaluronidase is a harmful enzyme that breaks the hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid acts like a “glue” for elastin and collagen fibers maintaining the firm look of the skin.

Vitamin C is also a natural antioxidant widely used in anti-aging crèmes. It enhances the effectiveness of Vitamin E and the production of collagen. Vitamin C protects the skin by stimulating the cell regeneration and microcirculation. Research shows that crèmes, containing Vitamin C, do have an anti-wrinkle effect but you should be aware of the crème conservation as Vitamin C is highly reactive and the crème may become ineffective. You must keep it away from direct sunlight. Vitamin C can also cause some skin irritation.

Vitamin E is also a well-known antioxidant that is found in great amount in the skin. Low concentration of Vitamin E is connected to the appearance of wrinkles. As the other antioxidants Vitamin E also neutralizes free radicals to achieve smoother and shiny skin. Scientific data proves the favorable effect of Vitamin E on wrinkles. Unpleasant side effects are swelling and itching of the skin. The most common derivatives of Fitamin E are tocopherol and tocopherol acetate. Those however are not so easily absorbed by the skin.

Another important wrinkle reducer is Cynergy TK – a substance stimulating the regeneration of the collagen and elastin contained in the body, again contributing to the firmness and healthy look of the skin. The biggest advantage of Cynergy TK is that it helps the body to capture its own moisture and retain it.
